This blend was created for when you are coughing up thick mucus-y secretions. It can be supportive in acute or chronic conditions. In acute conditions like a cold or a general feeling of “something stuck in the lungs” elecampane can help bring things up and out while thyme can be supportive of drying up the mucus. This blend can also help in conditions like chronic bronchitis and emphysema. Elecampane can also help with loss of appetite in chronic lung conditions to help restore the body. Studies have shown bee balm and usnea can act as antibacterials and antivirals, supporting the body’s ability to respond to bacteria and viruses and move them out of the lungs.
